Clausell Mathis, assistant professor of physics and physics education in Michigan State University’s Lyman Briggs College and Department of Teacher Education, has been named a Winter 2026 Fellow of the American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT). He is one of only two educators nationwide to receive this honor.

Majoring in Human Biology and Social Relations & Policy, Caroline is a proud member of the Honors College, James Madison College and Lyman Briggs College.

LBC alumna Ella Werre graduated in Spring 2025 with a degree in Astrophysics. She received a Fulbright award to conduct research in Bologna, Italy, at the Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica (the Italian National Institute of Physics)
