MSU Scholarships Database

The MSU Scholarships Database lists hundreds of scholarships based on major, program, or other criteria, including all LBC scholarships.

Use your university-issued NetID and password credentials to log in to the MSU Scholarships Database at scholarships.msu.edu, and complete a general application. This is the first step of applying for LBC and MSU scholarships for which you may be eligible.

Special Note for Incoming First-Year Students

Once you have received an acceptance letter from Michigan State University, you can use your university-issued NetID and password credentials to log in to scholarships.msu.edu, and complete a general application.

After you have completed the general application, and the system has verified your major in the MSU admissions application is “Lyman Briggs,” you will have the option to select LBC-specific scholarships and can provide any needed essay responses.

Financial Aid

Regardless of your income level, to be considered for federal, state, and university grants, scholarships, work-study programs, and loans, we recommend completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible after October 1 each year.

For more information, the MSU Office of Financial Aid has a webpage for undergraduate students with information about the financial aid process.
