Kevin Elliott honored with prestigious William J. Beal Outstanding Faculty Award

Red Cedar Distinguished Professor Kevin C. Elliott recently received the William J. Beal Outstanding Faculty Award at the 2026 Michigan State University All-University Awards Celebration. Elliott holds a joint appointment in the Science and Society faculty group of Lyman Briggs College and in the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources.

On April 10, the Michigan State University Board of Trustees presented 320 now-graduated seniors with the Board of Trustees’ Award, recognizing their achievement of maintaining a 4.0 grade point average throughout their college careers. 48 of those recognized were Lyman Briggs College students. LBC represents 4-5% of MSU's graduating class, yet 15% of its awardees with 4.0 GPAs.
