Living and Learning in One Place: Holmes Hall
Proximity, perspective, and community for Lyman Briggs students
Holmes Hall has always been home to Lyman Briggs College. Holmes is the largest residence hall on campus, housing 1,250 students, about 3/4 of them LBC students.
Your Home for the First Year of College
As a first-year LBC student, or "Briggsie," you'll live in Holmes with other LBC students. You'll take classes together, which makes it easy to study and make friends. Everything — classrooms, labs, dining options, and even advisor and professor offices — is in the same building. Many students like it so much, they choose to stay in Holmes a second year!
People Who Support You
Because we admit a limited number of students into Lyman Briggs College, our classes are small. That makes it easier to connect with your professors, advisors, and mentors. From your first class to graduation, and even after, you'll have a college community that's got your back.
