Explore Jobs and Internships
Using your skills and interests as a guidepost, it can be helpful to learn from and connect with Briggs alumni and industry professionals to identify job and internship opportunities that could be right for you! Use our LBC Career Services handbooks linked below for some good strategies.
Consider Career Outcomes of LBC/MSU alumni
The MSU Career Services Network Destination Survey captures data from Briggs alumni about their next moves after graduation. You can sort the Career Outcomes list by major or add in similar majors from across the university, to identify potential employers and/or continuing education opportunities that align with your goals.
Networking
Building a professional network can be a great way to not only explore career paths but can also lead to opportunities for internships and jobs. Connect with alumni on LinkedIn and through LBC Career events to begin making connections to professionals in your industry.

- Start the conversation: Briggs Career Chats are a great way to connect with LBC alumni who have been in your shoes. Hosted twice per semester—once with students/alumni focused on careers in healthcare; once with students/alumni in the sciences more broadly—allow you to connect with alumni one-on-one to learn more about their career journey and ask questions to help you navigate your own.
Look into Certification Programs
