LBC retired the in-house service of poster printing in December 2025. Listed below is information about typical poster dimensions and printing locations.
Poster Dimensions
- For LBC course-based posters and most conferences, the printed poster is 48 inches wide by 36 inches tall.
- For UURAF and Mid-SURE, your poster must be printed 40 inches wide by 32 inches tall.
Helpful note: make sure you change slide or page dimensions in your design software to match the ratio of the finished product, e.g. 4:3 for a 48x36 in. poster, or 5:4 for a 40x32 UURAF poster.
- In PowerPoint, go to Design, then Slide Size.
- In Google Slides, go to File: Page Setup, then select a size.
- In Canva, specifically design your file dimensions to be the page size.
Printing Locations
Consider printing your poster through the MSU Library, the Erickson Print & Copy Center, or Office Depot. Each will take different forms of payment.
