LBC Commencement Ceremony for Spring 2026

Sunday, May 3, 2026 | 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Breslin Center, 534 Birch Road

No admission tickets are required.
 

For students who plan to graduate this May: 

1. Apply to graduate - You MUST apply to graduate through the Office of the Registrar.
2. Pre-register to participate in the ceremony. The registration deadline is Friday, April 17, 2026, at 12 p.m. EDT. After the ceremony pre-registration has closed, students are still welcome to participate in the ceremony! Students will simply need to fill out a blank name card upon their arrival on the day of their ceremony. Graduates that pre-registered will have a printed name card.
3. Arrange for your cap and gown with the MSU Official Graduation Store, the Spartan Spirit Shop. Academic regalia can be purchased online or in person at the MSU Union location. Questions about academic apparel can be emailed to spirit@msu.edu or by calling 517-355-5116.
