In Briggs Career Chats, LBC alumni and current students connect one-on-one for simple, structured conversations about careers in various industries. It's a great way for students to explore careers, and for alumni to share insights in a meaningful way.
On April 9, the LBC Career Team will be hosting a Briggs Career Chat focused on Careers in Science (non-medical).
Industries that will be covered include (but are not limited to):
- Biotech/Genetics
- Environmental Science
- Data Analytics
- Management and Administration
- Research and Development
- Epidemiology and Public Health
- Laboratory Science
- Animal/Veterinary Science
Students:
Explore career opportunities and expand your network! Chat with Briggs alumni who studied in, and have careers in a variety of industries. Throughout the event, you will have the chance to meet one-on-one with 3 MSU alumni and ask questions about their experience at MSU, their profession, their educational journey, and for any advice that you think may be helpful for you along the way.
LBC Students: Register via Handshake by April 2.
Alumni:
Alumni have the opportunity to expand a student's view of what a particular career could be like and provide valuable insights as a Briggsie. Students come prepared with specific questions for alumni. It's meant to be a simple, structured, and enjoyable conversation for the both of you. Interactions typically run about 15 minutes per chat, over the course of one hour.
