Briggs Career Chats are a way to connect LBC alumni and current Briggsies through conversations about careers. Career fields that will be discussed on November 5 are those in human health care.
We are hosting conversations with LBC alumni who are in the following fields and/or roles:
- Physician/Doctor
- Physician Assistant
- Physical/Occupational Therapist
- Nursing
- Dentistry
- Pharmaceuticals
- Pharmacology
- Healthcare Research
- Healthcare Administration
During these events, we invite LBC alumni to talk with students one-on-one about their career journeys, their time in Briggs, the challenges they've overcome, accomplishments achieved, etc.
For students, the benefit is learning about careers they may be considering from people who have been in their shoes as Briggsies. It also helps build their skills in networking.
For alumni, the benefit is connecting with the newest LBC scientists and assisting them in career exploration.
