Biography
Kirtimaan Mohan completed his doctoral studies in particle physics at the Indian Institute of Science in 2014, after which he joined the Department of Physics and Astronomy at MSU as a research associate. His primary research interests are in new physics beyond the Standard Model, dark matter and collider phenomenology.

Research
What is the nature of dark matter? How should we be looking for signs of new physics? What is the nature of the Higgs boson? Can precision calculations in quantum field theory help us answer these questions? Maybe machine learning can help us unravel and identify new physics. These are some of the questions that I keep myself busy with in my research.
