Biography
I am a relational leader, educator, and facilitator whose work asks how learning communities can become places of reflection, care, and shared growth. As Associate Dean for Inclusive Excellence and Academic Innovation, I help weave together teaching, leadership, and culture so that the daily life of the college reflects the values we espouse. My portfolio includes faculty and staff development, curricular innovation, and Education Abroad and Away programs that foster connection within and beyond the classroom.
My professional path has moved across classrooms, communities, and continents. As a Fulbright Scholar in Peru, I taught and co-facilitated faculty learning in qualitative research while deepening partnerships with social work educators and community organizations. Earlier initiatives, such as the Social Justice Begins with ME! reading program and collaborative study-abroad projects, reflect my long-standing commitment to learning that engages the broader community.
Guided by traditions that view knowledge as something held in relationship, I seek to build spaces where curiosity, accountability, and care shape how we teach, learn and lead together. I believe that leadership begins in listening and that educational spaces thrive when people can contribute fully and belong to one another’s learning.
