LB 144BIOGRAPHY
Alex started working at MSU in Spring 2025. At Lyman Briggs, Alex teaches the laboratory portion of Introductory Biology 1 (LB 144). In his research, Alex uses qualitative research techniques to study the role of metacognition and epistemic framing as undergraduate students learn to reason mechanistically in biology. He enjoys a good hike, playing guitar, and listening to Svaneborg Kardyb while ineptly cooking with unusual ingredients.
