ULAs Needed for Summer 2020

Lyman Briggs College invites applications to be a ULA this summer for one or both sections of LB 270: Medical Terminology (online). This course runs in both Summer A (May 11-June 25) and Summer B (June 29-August 13). The job will be ~ 10 hours a week, though the hours will be distributed more heavily on weeks when there are assignments to grade.
Duties include attending synchronous class meetings, daily monitoring of online discussion, holding virtual office hours, a weekly meeting with the instructor, preparing materials, and/or some forms of assessment. Required: reliable daily internet access. The ideal candidate will be ready to support student learning in an online format. Experience as a ULA, in medical settings (as a CNA, scribe, etc.), and/or this course is desirable.
The application is now open. Review of applications will start on April 29, and the application will close as soon as a qualified candidate is hired.
