New LB Summer 2020 courses

In order to create as many opportunities as possible for our students to maintain their desired timelines towards graduation, and in response to the cancellation of some programs, LBC has increased the number and range of online summer courses in Summer 2020. We have also increased numbers of seats in some sections. 

The changes include: 

  • Three new online LB 492 courses 
    • LB 492: Deconstructing DNA: Genome Editing, Science & Society  
    • LB 492: Biology and Society 
    • LB 492: Self, Technology, and Nature 
  • Three new online LB 300-level courses 
    • LB 321A: Science and the Public (satisfies the second IAH requirement)
    • LB 322A: Innovation for Sustainability (satisfies the second IAH requirement) 
    • LB 325B: Conserving Life on the Coast (satisfies ISS 300-level requirement)
  • Two online courses have more seats available
    • LB 240: Bioethics, Theories and Methods 
    • LB 270: Medical Terminology
