Aeryn VanDerSlik is an MSU alum and physiology education researcher pursuing their Master's degree in physiology. Their current work explores how undergraduate students reason mechanistically about important principles in biology, notably ion flux and diffusion. With this work, they hope to provide insight into how instructors can improve course curriculum and activities in order to better support student learning.EDUCATION
