INTRO

Although new to Michigan State in a professional capacity, I actually lived in Holmes Hall for my first two years as a non-Briggs undergraduate student and graduated from MSU in 2016 with three majors, two degrees, and one minor. After being introduced to the behind-the-scenes world of higher education administration at Lansing Community College, I completed my master’s degree in educational leadership and a graduate certificate in academic advising at Eastern Michigan University.

In my time as a student, I had about 6 different academic advisors who confirmed policies, assisted in planning out my academic journey, and helped me grow academically and professionally. I have since pulled aspects of their advising styles that I valued into my own practices and hope to share meaningful interactions, support student success, promote inclusivity, and develop community in Briggs spaces and MSU at large.

Outside of MSU, I enjoy hiking, streaming movies and shows, traveling, playing Nancy Drew PC games, and hanging out with my animals.
