RESEARCH
Historically, my writing, presenting, and publication has centered on ideology and the construction of meaning in popular culture. More recently, my workhas been on a pair of novels, a thriller that's about 80% finished and a dark fantasy that's in the very early stages.

BIOGRAPHY
I bring an extensive background in teaching, individual mentoring, and interdisciplinary research in humanities to LB 133: Introduction to Science and Society. My research interests center on cultural studies, particularly the formation and maintenance of ideologies and the interplay of popular culture, ideologies, and technologies function in the construction of identities.
