Liz G. Ivkovich hails from Horton, Michigan. She is the Director of Development for Lyman Briggs College. She has previously worked in fundraising at UtahPresents, the University of Utah's multidisciplinary arts presenter, the University of Utah's Global Change & Sustainability Center, and Sustainability Office and a grassroots community development organization. Outside of philanthropy, Liz is an artist working at the intersection of performance + environment + community.
Liz's previous projects include the three-part Summer Series on Salt Lake’s Jordan River and Cairns, a multi-year collaboration between the indigenous artmaking collective All My Relations and UU scholars studying dark skies. Her publications appear in Performance Research, the Journal of Environmental Studies and Sciences, etc. Liz comes from a big ole’ family of Spartans and is honored to join the Briggs community.
