Facebook and Well-Being: A Relationship Worth Pondering?
Close to a billion people login to Facebook daily, the world’s largest online social network. And they are highly motivated to do so. Yet, we know remarkably little about how interacting with this technology influences well-being. In this talk, I will review findings from an ongoingprogram of research that is examining how interacting with Facebook influences the two components of subjective well-being: how people feel moment-to-moment and how satisfied they are with their lives.
