I'm originally from outside Toledo, Ohio and received my bachelor's degree in physics from Ohio State and my PhD in biophysics from the University of Texas. I then served as the Director of Educational Outreach and Research for the JILA Physics Frontier Center at the University of Colorado. I will be teaching the LBC 273 Physics course in the Fall 2016 semester. While I was an undergraduate I worked in a physics lab at MSU for the summer and am very happy to be back! In my free time, I like hiking, playing soccer, and going to art museums with my husband and daughter.
