All under one roof, Lyman Briggs College offers science laboratories and classrooms; faculty, administrative, and advising offices; and residential and dining facilities.
| The LBC Main Office (Holmes E35) is located on a garden level corridor that accommodates offices for the LBC administrative staff and advisors. Students frequently stop by to see an advisor, submit an application for a scholarship or learning assistantship, or ask a question. |
| LBC faculty offices are located primarily on the East 1st floor corridor and the West garden level corridor, to make it easy for students to find them. Faculty of different disciplines have adjacent offices to facilitate interdisciplinary conversations and collaborations. |
| Most LBC classes are taught in a suite of classrooms on the 1st floor of Holmes Hall (rooms C101-104). Equipped with moveable tables and chairs, white-boards, and up-to-date audio-visual technology, these rooms support the dynamic active-learning practices of our courses. |
| The only lecture-style classroom in LBC is Holmes C106, which holds 125 students. A fully-equipped demonstration bench, technology podium, and attached lecture-prep room enable faculty to bring course material to life in innovative ways. |
| Seminar classes, help sessions, and project meetings take place in high-tech classrooms W-38 and W-40, outfitted with multiple computers and projection systems enabling students to complete work in teams and make presentations to the class. |
| The four biology laboratory classrooms support courses in Organismal, Cell & Molecular, and Honors biology. All are configured to enable students to work on self-directed research projects in small teams over multiple weeks of the semester. |
| The two chemistry laboratory classrooms accommodate the 500 students who take LBC General Chemistry courses each term. Traditional ventilation hoods are supplemented by "snorkels" at each lab team's bench to facilitate a wider range of inquiry-based projects. |
| The physics laboratory supports LBC's mechanics and electromagnetism courses, offering computer-aided data collection so that students can focus on designing, executing, and analyzing their measurements. Room-darkening shades facilitate optics experiments in the spring. |

| Laboratory prep facilities across from the biology and chemistry labs provide logistical and technical support for all courses: ordering supplies, preparing reagents, overseeing safety procedures. Each year several students are hired as members of the lab prep team. |
| "The Outlet" is a WiFi-equipped coffee shop & convenience store located on the 1st floor, conveniently adjacent to classrooms. It's a popular spot to grab a snack, take a break between classes, or even meet a faculty member to talk about an assignment. Wide-screen TV, computer gaming facilities, and a film-viewing area with stadium-style seating are among the attractions. |
| The Holmes Dining Hall (the Café) is open long hours to accommodate student study habits. Student members of LBC search committees interview job candidates over lunch in the Café. And LBC faculty members often arrange weekly lunch discussions as part of Honors Options for their courses. |

| Learning lounges on the residential floors bring students and Undergraduate Learning Assistants together to discuss homework assignments and course material. Each discipline (biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, HPS) has a dedicated learning lounge. |
| Some of the many LBC hallway displays feature award-winning student posters presented at the LBC Research Symposium or the University Undergraduate Research and Arts Forum. Others showcase research undertaken jointly by LBC faculty and students. |
